Zak Cebon
Zak is a master’s student on the IDE program at Yale. Born and raised in Cambridge, UK, he graduated from the LSE with a first in Philosophy and Economics. He briefly worked in the energy transition space, both at a climate tech VC fund and as producer of Cleaning Up - Michael Liebreich’s climate change leadership podcast. He then moved to Bangkok to intern at UN ESCAP where he worked on environment policy and development finance in the Asia-Pacific region. His main academic interest is international development, with a particular focus on political institutions, education policy, and environmentally-sensitive development.
Outside work, his main passions are running and music. He is a keen classical pianist, but loves many genres, including house, alt hip hop, and R&B.
