Shreya Bajaj

Development Economics Research Assistant

Shreya Bajaj is a MPP student at the Jackson School of Global Affairs focused on evolving macroeconomic issues, international fiscal and monetary policy coordination and its implications for developing economies. At Jackson, she aims to gain further expertise on the issues of international policy coordination, geoeconomics, and fiscal sustainability, drawing solutions from an intermix of economic, political, and social aspects and hoping to contribute to effective policy formulation.

Prior to attending Yale, Shreya served as a civil servant in the Ministry of Finance of the Government of India for more than six years, where she worked on evidence-based impact evaluation of various schemes. As a research fellow at the Economic Growth Centre, she supports Dr Rohini Pande’s research in the domain of Governance and Social Protection.
