Lornah Wahome
Lornah served as a Research Manager Consultant at the Yale Economic Growth Center. She managed the research implementation and stakeholder engagement of a number of studies across East Africa such as the Kenya Pre-School RCT study in Tharaka Nithi that aims to implement an innovative pre-school intervention that seeks to improve early childhood development and increase female labor force participation. Lornah also supported additional projects under Inclusion Economics such as the M-Kopa study that seeks to improve women’s digital economic empowerment. She has over 7 years work experience working with researchers and managing research studies across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and India. Prior to joining ECG, she worked at the Busara Center for Behavioral Economic in Nairobi. Lornah holds an MPA from New York University with a specialization in international Development Policy and Management. She is passionate about Gender, Public Health and ECD research.
