Lisa Qian

Lisa Qian '20 participated in the EGC Communications Internship Program during the Spring and Summer 2020 terms. She used her internship to research women's contributions to EGC and Yale Economics in the early years of coeducation at Yale, in addition to studying the history of the EGC's intellectual evolution. She produced a series of articles on and moderated a webinar on the subject, as well as writing EGC research summaries and contributing to policy briefs.

Interning with the EGC was a really fantastic way to end my time at Yale. Beyond the great practice in interviewing, research and writing, my favorite part of the internship was seeing my work really honor the women who paved the way for the rest of us in economics, at Yale and beyond.
