Kenta Yamamoto
Kenta Yamamoto was born and raised in Japan. He earned a Bachelor’s degree in Economics from Hitotsubashi University. He has worked at the Bank of Japan, where he has been engaged in a wide range of economic research activities, including the compilation of price statistics, assessment of regional economic conditions, and risk evaluation of financial institutions. His research interests lie in development economics, economic growth, and macroeconomics.
Outside of work, he is an avid soccer player. He reached the top 32 in a national high school tournament in Japan and served as captain of both his university soccer team and the Bank of Japan soccer team. He also participates in half marathons and is committed to maintaining his physical fitness through regular training.
