Erik Jorgensen
Erik Jorgensen is the Inclusion Economics Gender and Digital Lead. Prior to joining IE, he spent four years in Liberia with IPA and the World Bank’s Social Protection and Jobs practice, where he coordinated impact evaluations on programs spanning cash transfers, youth employment, and agriculture. In addition to these impact evaluations, he also provided technical support to project management teams from Liberia’s Ministry of Gender, Children, and Social Protection and Ministry of Youth and Sports. Prior to his work in Liberia, Erik received a Master’s degree in African Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science. At IE, Erik is excited to support the center’s work in promoting research and evidence-informed policy that improves the social and economic well-being of women.
